Scratch Cup

Dear Members,

Congratulations to the management & squad of the Senior Cup Team who had a magnificent performance over the weekend to win through and reach the Leinster Finals in August.

The never say die/never give up attitude of the management, Fred McGrath & Andy Cooke and the entire squad, Sean O’Connor, John McCormack, Alan Dowling, Rowan Lester, Sean O’Flaherty, Ross Kenny and Brian O’Connor Jnr was a credit to us all.

3 very close, tense matches were played on Saturday & Sunday with the final against Carton House on Sunday afternoon turning out to be an epic with 2 matches won on the 19th.

The Leinster Quarter Final is against Laytown/Bettystown on Saturday 21st August at 9.20 am in The Grange Golf Club – please try and keep your diary free to support the team.
